Privacy policy
Last updated 18 October 2026
PadelMe is an app for padel players and clubs in Duhok and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. This policy says what we collect, why, who can see it, and how you can delete it. Questions? Email us at support@padelmekrd.com.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address, phone number and password. The password is kept encrypted by our sign-in service — nobody at PadelMe can read it.
- Your profile: a username, a photo, your gender, the side you play, when you usually play, a few lines about you and your city — only what you choose to add.
- Your games: the matches, training and tournaments you join or organize, your seats and payments, results, levels, who showed up, and your court bookings.
- Other players: who you follow and who follows you, the players you block, your messages, and the reports you send.
- Your phone: a notification token if you turn notifications on, and your language. If you allow it, your location puts the nearest clubs first; it never leaves your phone.
How we use it
- To run PadelMe: show your profile to other players, fill matches, hold and book courts, take payments, send the notifications you asked for, and work out your level.
- To keep PadelMe safe: look into reports, pause or remove accounts that break the terms of use, and stop spam.
- We don’t sell your data, and there are no ads in PadelMe.
Who can see what
- Other players see your profile — name, username, photo, level, side, gender, bio, matches played and followers — and the matches you join, with their results.
- Other players never see your email or your phone number.
- A club sees who booked its courts and who took a spot in its training.
- Messages are seen only by the players in that chat. Reports are seen only by PadelMe.
- PadelMe’s team can see your account, to help you and to keep PadelMe safe.
Who keeps it for us
- Supabase runs our database, sign-in and photo storage, on servers in Frankfurt, Germany.
- Expo delivers notifications to your phone.
- An SMS service sends the codes for signing in with your phone number.
- FIB (First Iraqi Bank) will handle payments when online payment is switched on. PadelMe never sees or keeps your card or bank details.
- The maps on club pages load from OpenStreetMap.
- Netlify hosts our website, padelmekrd.com. The website has no ads, cookies or tracking.
- Vercel hosts the panel where clubs and PadelMe’s team manage bookings, training and tournaments.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you have an account. When you delete your account, your personal data is deleted at once: your profile and photo, your email, password and phone number, who you follow and your followers, your blocks, the messages you sent and your notifications.
We keep, without your name: past matches and their results, so other players’ history stays right, and the booking and payment records clubs and PadelMe need for their accounts. Copies in our backups are gone within 30 days.
Your choices
- Change or remove your profile details at any time: Settings → Edit profile.
- Turn notifications on or off: Settings → Notifications.
- Block or report a player from their profile.
- Delete your account: Settings → Delete account. Without the app, email support@padelmekrd.com from the email address on your account.
Children
PadelMe isn’t meant for children under 13. If you think a child under 13 has an account, email support@padelmekrd.com and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we change the date at the top, and we tell you in the app when the change matters.
